Hello friends,

The Neighbourhood Hoops Team is actively recruiting volunteers for the 8 week summer street ball league. Volunteers will have the opportunity:

–      23 hours of volunteer hours towards high school

–      Mentorship from Head Instructors on how to be an effective basketball coach

–      Meet new friends

–      Learn about other opportunities in the community

–      Participate in the Hoops Finale

–      Summer of great memories

Volunteers will need to:

–      Complete application form

–      Acquire/submit Police Check – cost will be covered by Hoops team with submission of receipt

–      Attend volunteer training for 3 hours the first week of July at Tim Horton’s Field – exact date and time to be determined

Attached is the application form as well as the program details. Our team would appreciate help in spreading the word to local youth and adults who have a passion for basketball, community, and having a great time.

Thanks,

Jesse Williamson
